
Oxford High School hosted the SCBL League Forensics Tournament today. Flinthills took 1st, Oxford placed 2nd. Thank you to OHS Forensics coaches Katlyn Avritt and Billy Hatfield, as well as, all the volunteers and workers who made today a success.


NOTICE- The OHS baseball and softball games scheduled for Monday, April 8th have been moved to Burden and will start at 4:30 pm.


Oxford Elementary Kindergarten Round-Up ( pre-enrollment) will be held
Tuesday, April 23rd, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Elementary School.
Please call the office to schedule an appointment (620-455-2422).
All children who will be kindergarten age, even those that currently attend Oxford PK, are highly encouraged to attend the event- this is kindergarten pre-enrollment!
Your appointment will be approximately 30 minutes in duration. Staff will complete a Kindergarten screener with students while parents will complete the Ages and Stages questionnaire.
Children who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2024, are eligible to attend Kindergarten classes. Please bring immunization records, health assessment (well-child physical), and birth certificate, if you. have them. (These documents are required for enrollment.)

The Oxford High School Track team traveled to Douglass on Tuesday, April 2nd. The team had numerous individual medalists. The Wildcats ended the night with BOTH the boy's team and the girl's team bringing home 2nd place awards!
The season is off to a hot start.🐾


The 2nd Annual Touch a Truck Night will be on Friday, April 12 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Bring the family to see vehicles, equipment and machinery used in our area. Honey & Rue's Food Truck will be serving dinner!


OHS baseball will travel to Caldwell tonight, and the OHS softball team will play in South Haven. Both double-headers will begin at 4pm.
Notice- the Highway 166 bridge over the Turnpike is closed. Those traveling southbound on the Turnpike can take the South Haven exit.

Mrs. Reeves 2nd grade class led the GoFAR assembly this morning. Students were recognized for "Integrity".










The Oxford High School Invitational Track Meet is today. Field events start at 3:30 pm, prelims start at 4 pm. Good luck to all the participants.🐾


The Sumner County Health Department is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on April 4th at the Oxford Lions Club. Panel guests will discuss the opioid overdose crisis starting at 7pm.


It was a cold night in West Elk! Oxford softball swept West Elk; baseball split.
