The 51' Chevy Pick Up Refurbish by the USD 358 Auto class is now up for auction. The pick up was donated to USD 358 by the Hendrix family as a project for the newly developed automotive program at Oxford High School. The pickup has a long history in the Oxford community so was a fantastic opportunity for current students to learn community history while developing life long skills. Not only did the automotive class have a hand in this rehab of the vehicle, but so did the woods and welding classes. The woods class reconstructed the bed of the truck and welding class helped with body work. Instructors Wade Metz, Danny Ginn, and Cody Morris guided students the entire way. Proceeds will go back to the OHS CTE/Auto programs. The pick-up will be on display downtown Sept. 12th and 19th. The pick up was donated to the school by the Hendrix family
